[Fri 26 Feb 2010]
As I was blogging on publisher, I have had to create a blog account and transfer my previous blogs onto it. I also got feed back about my front cover and have tried to fix some of the problems for example enlarging the size of the magazine name in order for it to stand out more and also I have more features to fill majority of the space. I have made a start with my spread feature cover story and I have copied and pasted the text from my interview from publisher to Indesign, playing around with different texts and laying out ma page. I now need to add a picture and fix my text fonts.
[Friday 12 Feb 2010]
DEADLINE FOR THE COMPLETE MAGAZINE COVER.
[Wed 10th Feb 2010]
I will put together everything I have been experimenting with together to try and complete the magazine cover. By the end of the lesson I hope to create an effective magazine cover that will be appealing to my target audience. I will the show it to a few people from the target audience and get some helpful criticism, in order to see what they like and what I can improve, so that I can amend for the next draft.
[Friday 5th Feb 2010]
I will shortlist the photos I took and add to the cover of the magazine. As the pictures taken are high quality I will not have to crop the picture as the hair will be rather difficult to crop but I will need to touch up the picture using the ‘healing’ tool to get rid of some marks on the face.
[Wednesday 3rd Feb 2010]
As I need to re-take photos for the magazine cover, I go to MRC (Media Resources Centre) and take some photos of my model. I will get help to learn how to use the digital camera and where to put the lighting so that my photos come out as profession as possible.
[Friday 29th Jan 2010]
In this lesson I will continue with what I was doing last week, by adding text and experimenting with different fonts for the features and also playing around with photos for the features.
[Wednesday 20th Jan 2010]
I have started my magazine front cover by adding my logo and some features. My aim by the end of today is to have and idea of what I want my front cover will look like including the colours.
[Friday 15th Jan 2010]
I tried to crop the picture I took for the front cover. I may have to take another picture because the picture I have is not stage managed enough. I also tried to play around with In design in order to become more confident with using the software.
